A sunrise portrait session at the Wedge in Newport Beach with two newlyweds and two rather rambunctious dogs

A few days ago I was talking about sunshine and "fall" weather in lieu of winter weather.  Now it's raining buckets.  And while our drains are being flooded outside, I was working on sunny images like the one below.  Somehow it all felt very wrong.



Regardless, I still love this picture of Mya in the sun with sand all over her face, trotting around like a wild doggie. :) 

Anyway, it's ok, because it's nice to listen to the rain.  It always inspires a nap or two.

It's a very unusual name for a long-legged chihuahua-beagle mix. But he wears it well, especially when he utterly disregards Ricky and pelts after another dog at the park.

      

My friend was uploading pictures on facebook last night, and it really made me miss her dog. Living in an apartment makes keeping one tough, so I'm really grateful that I've got a lot of friends with plenty of cute dogs. And sadly, even they can't quite escape my camera. I do try to keep it down though, because they're not totally understanding when you stop petting them to snap a picture. :P This is when Didi was small.


Now he's big.
 
And a thief. This is a picture of him when he stole a fruit I really wanted. It also gives me flashbacks to when he jumped me at a BBQ for my meat. He's lucky he's cute. :(
