Roger and Pattie had their engagement session in Malibu, but also love the city and all its charms. So it seemed fitting that we take a few more photos in downtown Los Angeles, including a brief stop at the Ahmanson theater where they watched Les Misérables (lucky!). And of course, you can't help but love the fountain there on a very hot day (which it was)!

This entry is long overdue! :)
I shot Paul and Lan's first engagement in Orange County, which you can find here. For their second shoot, we headed up to downtown Los Angeles. Union Station is a gorgeous, moody space with a lot of architectural details.
By the second time around, I barely had to tell them anything, they did everything all on their own.
As the train started moving a fellow popped his head out to take a peek at what was going on. The resulting picture was quite funny (and don't worry Paul & Lan, I have a picture sans the uninvited guest).
Afterward, we strolled around nearby Olvera street in search for some cold drinks (it was a really hot day), and we took a few more pictures.
Paul serenading Lan before Lan took the guitar and started playing herself. :)
I had a great time shooting here. Thanks for bearing with the heat, guys!
