It's a very unusual name for a long-legged chihuahua-beagle mix. But he wears it well, especially when he utterly disregards Ricky and pelts after another dog at the park.

Who knew, that behind Irvine's tidy little facade, lurks a wasteland of concrete pipes and tractors?
My favorite pic of the day.

The Nayfack family is very mellow, and little baby Isaac is no exception.
For a three month old baby, he really really knows how to work the camera.
This was a really funny shot.
His name is printed in really light letters at the bottom of his quilt. Very cute.
It's good to be Isaac.
I think in retrospect, the furrowed brow below might've been an indicator that he was getting fed up with the photo shoot.
The meltdown. Despite being told by Michelle that she wanted to chronicle this aspect of Isaac as well, I still felt kind of like a villain snapping shots of Isaac in his moment of weakness.
It was a bit hard snapping a shot of Isaac in a moving car, but this pout was too cute (and I was obviously not driving).
I had the bright idea that it would be awesome to have Isaac sitting on the wall with the house number below it. This is what he thought of it:
But at the end of the day it was ok, because the big black plastic thing was no longer pointed at him and he got to go back to his favorite spot.

I just realized, as I was putting up this title, how austere it sounds. It is a far cry from the playful family that I met on Sunday. I walked around a bit before meeting them. Woodbridge is my old stomping ground, I played here a lot as a child.
I also saw some bird nests wedged up against the underside of the bridge.
Here is a shot of James looking extremely handsome (and sleepy) in his hat and little vest. Children's clothing is hard to resist in general, they are so cute even I want to buy them, and we don't even have any kids!
The laughing attempt to smush her mom's face even closer than they already were.
Two year olds are definitely not known for their cooperative nature. When we were taking a group photo Olivia ran away saying, "You can't catch me!" But she did it in such an adorable way I could resist snapping a shot of her mischievous face.
Finally we got it done right:
But just in case... here was another one.
Olivia loves to be chased.
