Today was my first engagement photo shoot with Katie and Kip. It was a bit cold for the beach but we faked it anyway. Katie and Kip are adorable, self-proclaimed "band geeks" who are in no way geeky at all.
We scrapped the jumping idea since that wasn't working too well. =) But we got plenty more along the beach, including some under the pier. Pier pylons have always baffled me, they almost always look rather haphazardly assembled. Santa Monica is no exception.
Gotta love the spontaneous twirling.
And finally, onto the pier. Check out the funny pylons.
Check out Katie's bling. It's very delicate and has a vintage feel that totally matches her personality.

Thank you so much for taking these pictures of us! I love them so much. This last one is on our save the date magnet, and I think it is just so fun. I don't like stuffy pictures. These really feel like us--sweet, with a hint of silliness.
And the picture of my ring while we are hugging--that is really classy.
