Horsing around

Every time I see horses I feel like I revert to my horse-crazy nine year old self again, and this weekend was no exception.  Seeing these inquisitive playful creatures again made me long to dust off my boots and half chaps and ride around until I can barely walk. :)  Ah, well, one can dream.

Who knew that one of the best views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House would be while waiting to catch a train at Circular Quay?  If only we had a similar view while on the LA Metro.

after the rain

After the rain everything has a soft, misty quality to it, and it was so pleasant and peaceful to wander around snapping photos.  Meet Catherine... this young lady is as lovely inside as she is out, and is a remarkably talented singer to boot.
